Howdy Doody!

Oy the day I'm having.  I'm trying to finish this project that I thought would be a quick stitch.  I'm barely on the writing and I've had to take it out a billion times! I just want to get going on my cottages.  Maybe that's why I'm having trouble.  I'm trying to hurry through this project.  I should just relax and get it done.  Wish me luck and quick stitching!!!

My Yob!

This picture is of the north end of the building where I work.  As you can see I was tanding below the main level and saw this icicle with the break in it and thought it was interesting.  The reason I'm writing today is to say that I got a log entry yesterday.  It's a write up basically.  I forgot to fill forms for the cops on a Friday which meant they were out of one of the forms all weekend.  My boss gave me the log entry and at first I was upset, but then I realized it is my job and despite the fact that I have more work than 1 person could possibly handle...it's still my responsibility.  So I'm sucking it up and vowing to do better.  Hope you all are having a wonderful day.  I'm still chuggin away all my projects.  Hopefully I can get some pictures and post them tomorrow.

As anyone who knows me, knows I love food.  I only make this meal once or twice a year because it's so unhealthy...but I do know how to make it and my family loves it!  I think it may be a lost art. Truly...THOUGHTS?!

I am all for Women's Rights!  I am a woman after all, but some of the fall out from the Women's Lib Movement are men not being manly.  While the balance may be delicate a man can respect a woman and treat her well while still being a manly man.  I want a man who takes the wheel and drives the car when we go places, I want a man who will get up in the middle of the night to check out a sound I hear that frightens me, I want a man who can fix just about anything that needs fixing, I want a man who can hold me and kiss me goodnight and be a good lover, a man who is a good provider for his family, a man who keeps his word, a man who is respected in his community, a man who loves his mother...I want it all...lucky me...I have it all!  And the icing on the cake...he's soooooo handsome!!

Designed Cross Stitch for Baby Lily

I was invited to a baby shower for Lilian.  Her mom is decorating her nursery in frogs.  I thought it was cute...Lily's pad. I am stitching this for her.  I found the frog on a free pattern site and then used my PCStitch program to finish the design.  I just started stitching it tonight.  It's stitching up fast.  I'm glad because the shower is Sunday.  I was so focused on the baby blanket for Haydyn that I didn't realize the shower was coming up so quickly.  Whew!  And I have January, February and March cottages to get done.  Everyone has said that those stitch up fast...so I'm hoping I can catch up.  Have a great day!

Haydyn's Blanket

A friend at work came to me and asked me to finish a blanket.  Her mom started the blanket for her great great grand-daughter, but passed away before she could finish it.  My friend asked me if I could finish it for her.  I finished it this morning and it's a great pattern.  She cried when I gave it to her and it made me happy to do something for her.
